These terms are an agreement between you and Pine Creative Inc. for the use of VinoEarth: the iPhone and Android apps, the web app and this website. By using VinoEarth you agree to them. If you get the app from the App Store or Google Play, that store's terms also apply.

Who can use VinoEarth

You must be of legal drinking age where you live (20 in Japan, 21 in the United States, 18 in most other countries).

Your journal is yours

You own what you put in VinoEarth: your notes, photos and memories. It is stored on your device and we don't claim any rights to it. You are responsible for keeping backups; the app's "Save a backup" helps with that.

About the information we show

VinoEarth shows information about wines, vineyards, geology and weather from open data sources (such as Macrostrat and Open-Meteo), from what you enter and, in future, from automated label reading. It is offered to help you learn and remember. It may be incomplete or wrong, for example a geologic map that is too coarse for a single vineyard, and it is not professional, medical or purchasing advice.

Drink responsibly

VinoEarth is a journal, not encouragement to drink. Please drink responsibly and never drink and drive.

Acceptable use

Don't use VinoEarth to break the law, to harm others, or to interfere with the service or the open data services it uses.

Our software

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use VinoEarth. Map, geology and weather data remain under their own licences, credited in the app.

Changes and availability

We may change, add or remove features. We will post changes to these terms here and update the date above. Material changes will be announced in the app.

Disclaimer and liability

VinoEarth is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data stored on your device. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
